Bands of Delegated Authority

The organisational structure of the university in terms of levels of delegated authority is set out in the table which can be downloaded below.  The right-hand column indicates the bands of delegated authority.

The bands assume that all positions in the reporting line higher than the delegate's position hold the delegate's delegations.

Where a band is split into (a) and (b) the following applies:

     Band 4b holds only the authority that has been delegated to the position by Band 4a.
     Band 5b holds only the authority that has been delegated to the position by Band 5a.
